Ever since a young girl I can always remember dogs being a big part of my day-to-day family life. Over the years I have owned and fostered a variety of dog breeds from Chihuahua to Weimaraner and everything in between.
It was when I was studying for my MSc at university that I began dog walking on the weekend as a way to earn some extra money. After a few years working as a GIS Consultant in Salisbury, I began to think about combining my love of dogs and the potential of earning a full time income from my hobby. My goal is to run a professional business without compromising on quality. I have a number of plans for the future of It’s a Dog’s Life, however for now I have been concentrating on providing a top quality dog walking and pet sitting service for my both my current and future clients.
I have recently completed a course in Pet First Aid. In time I hope to further my knowledge of dogs by undertaking a canine behaviour course. My customers trust me with their pets, are confident in my experience and know they are in good hands. Having volunteered at a rescue centre, and fostered a number of dogs, I am fully aware of the importance of exercise and stimulation in a dog’s life. As well as improving health and fitness, exercise can relieve stress, boredom and help to avoid unwanted behaviours.
The happiness, welfare and safety of your pets are of paramount importance to me. I am fully insured, DBS Checked and offer friendly, flexible and reliable pet care tailored to suit both you and your pet.
